MEDITATE ON THE WORD

1 Thessalonians 4:11

".... Aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you."

1 Thessalonians 5:15

"See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all."

1 Thessalonians 5: 16-22

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all thing; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every evil.

2 Thessalonians 2:10

".. because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved, And for this reason God send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, that they may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

1 Thessalonians 5:6, 8

Therefore let us not sleep. as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications. with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus,"

Philippians 4:8

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and of there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things."

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

1 John 3:10

.. whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

 for this purpose, the son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Hebrews 10:26

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.

Hebrews 10: 38

Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.

1 Timothy 2:1-4

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our saviour, who desire all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Hebrews 6:4-6

"For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame."

THE WORD OF GOD IS A LIGHT TO OUR PATH

1 John 5:14-15

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

1 John 2:27

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

Nehemiah 8:10

".... Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

Isaiah 26:3

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

Isaiah 1:16-20

Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil,

vs.17 learn to do good; seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor, Defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Vs 18 Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Vs. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; 

Vs. 20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Joshua 1:8

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

STUDY THE WORD

2 Timothy 2:15

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

SEEK COUNSEL FROM THE WORD

Isaiah 30:1

"Woe to the rebellious children," says the Lord, "Who take counsel, but not of Me. And who devise plans but not of My Spirit."

Isaiah 30:10

Who say to seers, "Do not see." And to the prophets. "Do not prophesy to us right things; speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.

Isaiah 30:15 

"... In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."

Isaiah 30:18

.... For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

Isaiah 30:21

Your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, " This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

Isaiah 43: 2-3

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lors your God.

Isaiah 40:31

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 54:17 

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. And their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord. 

Isaiah 53:5-6

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 55:6-11

vs.6 Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon Him while He is near.

vs.7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And he will have mercy on him; And to our God, For he will abundantly pardon.

vs.8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord.

vs.9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts."

vs.10 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the Sower And bread to the eater;

vs.11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Isaiah 54:17
